What up to all mi Panitas!

As you all know it’s that time of year again!

For those uninformed few let me break it down for you. On Saturday,June 13th, 2009; 116th street will be hosting one of NYC largest (over 28 street blocks…. DAMM… I know :) ) street festival official dubbed as the 116th St. Festival, but we all know it as the Puerto Rican Festival. This Festival will be boasting 3 large music stages rocking out that music for mi cocolos, rockeros, raperros, and salseros. So mi gente grab your pavas and a nice cold glass of jugo de MAVI and check out the stages. The location of all 3 stages is as follows:

  1. 106 st stage (106st & 3rd ave)
  2. 112 st stage (112st & 3rd ave)
  3. 122 st stage (122st & 3rd ave)

Along with some good music and fine people in attendance; there will be plenty of those food stands selling those Cuchifritos. Make sure you stop by and support them working folks. Last but not least you have the Official 2009 National Puerto Rican Day Parade which will be on Sunday, June 14, 2009 all along Fifth Avenue (from 45st to 86st) NYC. The NYCeTwits crew will be representing at both events, so when you see us strike a pose and represent your heritage regardless of what it is.
