Well if you look at the specs on the iPhone and compare it to your computer/laptop, it’s pretty weak. But if you can compare it to a computer back in the mid-90′s, it’s pretty ok, maybe even slightly better.
But someone put that to the test! On GoodiPhone.com, they did run Windows 95 on the iPhone (via an emulator of coarse)! They got it to run on the iPhone Emulator that some have seen on the iPhone SDK and they got it to run on an iPhone itself. Now of coarse there was a few issues with it. 1 being that the cursor seemed to be way off. But the fact it works is amazing!
Now supposively they are now working getting Windows XP to run on the iPhone! If they can pull that off, I’ll be amazed. And if you know me, you know I’ll def be trying it out when I get the chance.
