 Central Park Film festival 2009


The Central Park Conservancy will be holding a cool and FREE Film festival in Rumsey Playfield located around 69th street and Fifth avenue. This festival will begin Tuesday, August 18th thru Staurday, August 22nd. All this will be sponsored by Bloomberg. The first film on the list will be a goodie for the ladies. So check below for more info on the scheduled events. Make sure that you get there early to grab a good spot and bring a picnic basket.

  • Saturday: VIEWER’S CHOICE  Desperately Seeking Susan (1985)
    A bored suburban housewife, seeking adventure to her life, accidentally gets hit on the head, wakes up with amnesia, and is mistaken for a free-spirited New York City drifter named Susan (starring the coolest chameleon, Madonna). 104 min.
